The United States National Exercise Referral Framework (U.S. NERF) represents a groundbreaking initiative aimed at identifying measured competency and addressing the confidence gap that exists regarding which exercise professionals, education, and training best align with the participant’s/patient’s conditions, health status, and goals. It also aims to bridge the gap between healthcare and healthspan by integrating physical activity and exercise into patient care.
