Using the Registry to Stay Competitive in the Market

June 01, 2023

Meet Josh Zaffino, a 20-year health & fitness industry veteran and the Training and Development Director for Arch Amenities Group. With a mission to help maximize the potential of people and spaces through a full spectrum of amenity management and consulting services for commercial and residential properties, Arch Amenities Group serves fitness centers, spas, private clubs, pools and more.

The United States Registry of Exercise Professionals® (USREPS®) provides verification of valid credentials for over 165,000 exercise professionals representing five fitness professions, including Group Exercise Instructors, Personal Trainers, Strength and Conditioning Professionals and Clinical Exercise Physiologists. Arch Amenities Group uses the registry to search for qualified candidates, filtering by zip code and job role. It also uses it to validate credentials, recognizing the importance of job applicants holding current, NCCA-accredited certifications. According to Josh, “the registry allows us the opportunity to find staff who are qualified and meet our hiring standards.”

Arch Amenities Group sees hiring and retaining registered exercise professionals as critical to providing the best quality services to its clients. It views job applicants who maintain an NCCA-accredited certification as dedicated and committed to the industry. Arch Amenities Group wants to bring on dedicated, committed candidates, onboard them thoroughly, and provide them the continuing education they need to be successful throughout their careers. “One resource that has become very valuable in our approach to stay competitive in the market and hire top talent is USREPS®,” concludes Josh.
